Step 1
Choose a sunny location with loose soil that you will rake to create shallow furrows.

Step 2
Then, sow your seeds along the furrows, spacing them about 20 cm apart from each other.

Step 3
Cover your seeds with a thin layer of soil, then press them down lightly. Finally, water lightly and keep the soil moist until the first shoots appear.

How to harvest new cosmos seeds? 
Harvest the faded flower buds and let them dry in a dry, airy place. One week later, crush the cosmos buds between your fingers to release the seeds.
